sophie & hans is a design and architecture studio based in Berlin, creating objects, spaces, and atmospheres of all types, in all scales and for all activities.
We share a motivation to design soulful and impactful places, especially for public life.
Inspired by craft, material and machines, sophie & hans aim to produce refreshing works that embody new tools with old techniques.
The studio was co-founded by Sophia Tang and Hans-Christian Buhl in 2019.
